On the 16.12.2011 my parents Ilse and Gerhard Riediger celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Ithala Game reserve.

I booked the  Ithala “Ntshondwe Lodge” for the 15 – 18.12.2011 for my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. At the time of the booking August 2011 it was not certain that either Horst or I would be able to join my folks there for their celebration. I knew that my parents would never have booked the lodge to celebrate their wedding anniversary, but you don’t celebrate your 50th wedding anniversary every year it’s something special. My parents love the game reserve and where better to celebrate then in a place you love. Initially we feared that nobody would make it, after all it was quite a distance for a Sunday Lunch! But we need not have worried at the final count there were 40 of us there to celebrate this day with my parents at the Sunday Lunch 18.12.2011. Thank you too all that managed to celebrate this day with us it meant the world to my parents 🙂

English breakfast, bacon and eggs on toast with a fried tomato and sausages, orange juice and coffee – Thanks Sanet Mon Cheri around the place mats of my mom and dad – The birthday kids
